All the breaks are along nature fissures. Even the “stairs” are at different sizes because they brake along natural cracks.

I'm getting into scuba diving. I've been freediving for some time but I went diving with some friends and loved it. What are some good bcd and regulator brands to look into? I'm always driving here and there to freedive. I highly doubt that will change with scuba. So something somewhat compact would be best. If you could point me in the right direction. That would be awesome. I love the content

nowadays always use your finger ONLY to wash them and dry them only with air ! Why? you can scratch the inside glass. But don’t worry can be repaired. What is happening? Now they use ceramic coating!! Can be easily scratched but hard to remove!

How does the frog + compare to the reg frog in terms of bouncy ? I use them for snorkeling and can't stand flippers that float and stay on top , the reg frog seems to be hevy enough to stay down making it quiet

I would not consider these to be quick release if I have to pinch the clip with one hand and pull the pouch with the other hand. It should release with a good tug only. Every other BCD I have had worked that way, one handed weight release.

Probably the worst thing about PADI instructors is that when you click on to their video expecting to see Steve Crowder's take on how PADI sucks but end up with some guy with a British accent telling everyone how lucrative it is selling specialty courses. However I took my PADI open water in 1972. That was before PADI sucked. And I was supposed to earn an advanced certification after paying for the instructors trip to Cosumel and doing a night dive and a compass run. I can't really blame the instructor for not getting me a card because I never supplied him with a photo to put on the card. It never kept me from getting tanks pumped or access to a dive charter. I just used my NACD card most places took that without question. I did once have a fellow down in the Key's ask me for a current log book. I told him I hadn't filled out a dive log in decades. But I offered to show him some current video.

I use a Zeagle Escape Back Plate BCD It has two loops on the back. Are these both to pull the low pressure inflation hose through. I got it used and I'm not sure it is correct.

I remember adverts for shark darts back in the day :) Always wanted one, never could afford it - didn't want to use it whilst diving, but thought it would be fun down the pub on a Friday niight (ONLY KIDDING HONEST). Howvever, I first learned to dive when I was 18, back in 1971 (maybe 72) and dive tables were what we used. Recently, just relearned to dive on a holiday when I did the PADI open water course, and I must say that I am not impressed by the reliance on dive computers. What if the darn thing goes wrong? I was watching a video today when a tech diver said he always dives with two dive computers... Should he maybe have three or four of sixty-six of them???
